It was a beautiful sunny autumn day today and although the breeze was quite cold the sun was shining and the stones on the beach felt very warm. The sound of the waves was especially soothing and I sat for a long time just looking and listening.

The tide was coming in - pushing its way toward me up the beach – and the sea was very dark. I could really see the green in it when the clouds moved over the sun. And the sky was very active, with lots going on and plane trails everywhere.
