Sea and sky were dark and heavy today, although the horizon was clear thanks to earlier rain. A slight breeze coming off the sea flattened the water instead of agitating it and the thick clouds added to the day’s deep calm. Every now and then a tiny flash of sunlight sparkled on the water before being absorbed by its sombre surroundings.
